Four-switch synchronous buck-boost (FSBB) converter is much suitable for battery management system for its characteristic of wide input voltage range, high efficiency, and positive voltage output. A three mode control scheme with two modulation signals and one carrier can be adopted to achieve the smooth transition among modes.

Focusing on short-term wind power forecast, a method based on the combination of Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) has been proposed. Firstly, the GA was used to prepossess the data and effectively extract the input of model in feature space. Basis on this, the ELM was used to establish the forecast model for short-term wind power.

The stability problem for a class of stochastic neural networks with Markovian jump parameters and leakage delay is addressed in this study. The sufficient condition to ensure an exponentially stable stochastic neural networks system is presented and proven with Lyapunov functional theory, stochastic stability technique and linear matrix inequality method.

This paper evaluates application feasibility of a Hybrid Multi-terminal HVDC system and wind-thermal-bundled plants simulated in DIgSLIENT PowerFactory environment. The proposed hybrid MTDC system consists of two line-communicated converters (LCC), which are connected to both wind farms and thermal power plants, and one voltage source converter (VSC) at the grid side.
